Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Control Analyst (PCA) to manage project finances and schedules, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The PCA will work closely with program and project management to develop, monitor, and report on budgets, accruals, and actuals, providing detailed variance analysis. This role is essential for process improvement and budget compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitors and reports on the financial performance of projects.
- Analyzes project data to identify trends, variances, and risks.
- Develops estimates to complete (ETC), estimates at complete (EAC), and other financial deliverables.
- Understands different contract types and revenue recognition methods.
- Reconciles actual versus budget costs monthly.
- Tracks employees' and subcontractors' incurred hours and dollars.
- Ensures adequate funding availability and supports funding requests.
- Collaborate and provide actionable insights to project teams and senior management.
- Generates and presents monthly performance reports.
- Supports project audits and compliance reviews.
- Provides guidance on financial matters.
- Manages expense reclassifications and notifies PMs on discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience is required with a proven track record in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control management, and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Unanet or a GovCon ERP system, MS Excel and other project management software.
- Government contracting experience is required.

- Must be a self-starter and problem solver, capable of functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to connect and work with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize deadlines.
- Must be willing to travel on infrequent occasions as needed.
Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $83,000 – $125,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
