Position Summary: The SAP Transportation Management Delivery Lead will be responsible for managing an internal team of both skilled and beginner TM Consultants, managing the solution delivery of TM solutions to C5MI clients, and increasing the internal knowledge base of C5MI employees.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Provides mentorship, guidance, and feedback to technical team members, and holds the team accountable for meeting objectives, deadlines, and performance standards.
- Assists the TM Delivery Manager in interviewing for open TM positions and makes recommendations for hiring.
- Builds relationships with clients and meets with client teams to understand and document client business requirements.
- Ensures solution delivery to the client corresponds to best practices and meets client requirements and expectations.
- Participates in meetings to ensure current resource allocation is meeting client needs and plans for future work.
- Leads SAP TM functional resources, workload, and cost management to achieve SLA commitments for multiple SAP client solutions.
- Applies SAP TM configuration solutions to business/technical problems through design, analysis, integration, debugging, testing, and implementation based on requirements gathered from customers without close supervision.
- Leads a team of consultants for a client, taking responsibility for quality and delivery.
- Provides updates to executive leadership, both internal and client facing, on status of projects as required.
- Provides support to clients by investigating, analyzing, identifying, and applying system solutions to problems/issues that arise through customer interactions.
- Meets with internal employee teams for coaching, mentoring, and performance updates.
- Is actively involved in end-to-end testing and go-live activities.
- Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Required/Desired Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field is a plus.
- SAP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of SAP consulting experience or equivalent leadership experience is required.
- 1 years of SAP TM consulting experience is required.
- Experience with SAP deployment lifecycles.
- Experience working with the Department of Defense or other federal agencies is a plus.

- Strong technical expertise with logistics and transportation technology processes and procedures.
- Ability to effectively delegate tasks, provide clear direction, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate cross-functional teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including compliance requirements for technology solutions in logistics and transportation functions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and make informed decisions.
Compensation:
In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $120,000 – $165,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
