Position Summary: The Senior SAP Security Analyst is responsible for assisting with the implementation, maintenance, and support of SAP security policies and controls to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of organizational data within SAP systems. This individual will support security initiatives beyond the scope of the SAP Environment, to integrate with the security requirements of the wider organization, as well as provide mentorship to associate-level and mid-level team members.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Actively involved in end-to-end testing and go-live activities, providing expert insight related to security.
- Provides leadership for resolving issues, optimizing services, and ensuring the availability of business systems.
- Implement the appropriate security strategy based on business requirements.
- Exhibits leadership through the sharing of knowledge and experience (including teaching/training) when opportunities arise and steps in when team members need help.
- Provide coaching to team members evolving at a lower level or requiring help to accomplish any activities.
- Reviews, grants, modifies, or revokes user access to various SAP modules, ensuring that access aligns with the principle of least privilege and organizational security policies.
- Conducts regular security audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities or unauthorized activities within SAP systems, and monitors security logs to detect and respond to any suspicious or anomalous behavior in real time.
- Ensures adherence to established security policies and procedures and documents security configurations, access controls, and incident response protocols to maintain a comprehensive record of the SAP security landscape for compliance and auditing purposes.
- Creates user manuals, configuration guides, and training materials for the SAP Data Migration processes.
- Conducts training sessions for end-users and client personnel security and best practices.
- Collaborates with development and delivery teams on support activities, creating authorization objects, transactions, and ensuring security policies are followed in the development design.
- Supports end-to-end testing and go-live activities on SAP implementation projects.
- Provides support for production SAP systems, such as password resets, role creation and updating, provisioning of access, and troubleshooting.
- Fosters continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Stays up to date with the latest security, enhancements, and best practices.
- Performs related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Required/Desired Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Certificate in MIS, CS, IS, IT or other technical field.
- 5+ years of experience preferred.

- Familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.
