Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team! In this role, you’ll leverage best practices for project management and risk management to deliver project objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains visibility to known project work leveraging documented tools, processes and procedures in appropriate Standard Operating Procedures, Playbooks and Runbooks.
- Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors, and key clients.
- Manages the relationship with the customer, acting as the primary “face” of the project throughout the lifecycle.
- Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts.
- Ensures successful go-live on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
- Maintains consistent communication with the project team to ensure the scope of work is clear and that standard operating procedures are adhered to and auditable.
- Ensures compliance with all accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals, as outlined by the Statement of Work and other C5MI policies.
- Provides customer guidance and support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy, and Testing Strategy.
- Facilitates the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables.
- Leverages financial acumen to estimate costs associated with the project, including physical, financial, and human capital costs.
- Creates and manages capital appropriate requests and revisions and develops a detailed cost baseline from cost estimations.
- Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise on the project, acting as a mediator between stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Acts as a trusted advisor for the client.
- Keeps senior leaders and stakeholders informed on the progress of the project, as well as any risks or deviations from the plan.
Qualifications:
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
- Required: PMP Certification
- Required: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III
- 5+ years technology implementation and/or operation experience.
- 5+ years project management experience (Experience consulting with the DoD or DLA required)
- Experience with at least one full cycle software implementation.
- Understanding of SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
- Additional project management certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Project or other project management tools.

- Must be able to lead large cross functional teams and understand how to lead within a matrixed organization to deliver results.
