Position Summary:

As the SAP EWM Analyst you will be responsible for providing hypercare support and resolving live system issues in the initial weeks following SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementations. This role requires a self-motivated, independent professional capable of handling a high volume of tickets and troubleshooting complex system issues. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring seamless transitions from implementation to steady-state operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hypercare support following SAP EWM implementation.
  • Monitor and resolve live system issues, quickly addressing any failures or user-reported concerns.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes of system errors and coordinate resolutions with the relevant teams.
  • Manage a high volume of support tickets, ensuring timely responses and effective issue resolution.
  • Track system performance indicators (KPIs) to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to maintain and enhance system performance.
  • Apply software updates and security patches as needed to ensure system integrity.
  • Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and resolutions for knowledge-sharing and future reference.
  • Provide technical assistance to end-users, ensuring a positive support experience.

Qualifications:

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Required – background and/or education in logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or other related field.
  • Required – 3-5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
  • Desired – 1+ years in a professional logistics, distribution, MIS, IT, or other related field
  • Desired - Certificate in MIS, CS, IS, IT or other technical field (SAP a plus)

Specific Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of SAP EWM and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently in a high-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a meticulous approach to system configuration and issue resolution.
  • Ability to handle multiple support tickets simultaneously, prioritizing urgent issues effectively.
  • Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
